Working Principle

Starting process: When the start button is pressed, the AC contactor coil inside the magnetic starter is energized, attracting the armature to close the contact group, thus connecting the power supply of the motor and realizing the starting of the motor.

Stopping process: When the stop button is pressed, the AC contactor coil is de-energized, the armature is released, and the contact group is disconnected, cutting off the power supply to the motor and stopping the motor from running.

Protection function: the built-in thermal relay of the magnetic starter can monitor the current change of the motor, when the motor is overloaded, the thermal relay will act to de-energize the coil of the AC contactor and cut off the power supply of the motor, which plays the role of overload protection.
