Main functions of STRO7-40 RCBO
Overload Protection: When the current in the circuit exceeds the rated value of the STRO7-40 RCBO, it will automatically cut off the circuit within a set period of time to prevent the circuit and equipment from overheating, thus avoiding fire and damage.
Short circuit protection: When a short circuit occurs in a circuit, the STRO7-40 RCBO will quickly cut off the circuit to prevent the short circuit current from causing serious damage to the circuit and equipment.
Leakage Protection: The STRO7-40 RCBO is capable of detecting residual current (i.e., leakage current) in a circuit. When the residual current exceeds the set threshold, the STRO7-40 RCBO will cut off the circuit in a very short period of time to prevent electrocution accidents and electrical fires.
The STRO7-40 RCBO contains an internal thermal magnetic trip detector (for overload and short circuit protection) and a residual current detector (for leakage protection). When the current or residual current in the circuit is abnormal, the corresponding striker triggers the tripping mechanism of the STRO7-40 RCBO, making it quickly cut off the circuit.
1.Thermal Magnetic Tripper: It utilizes the heat and magnetic field generated when the current passes through the conductor to trigger the tripping. When the current is too high, the conductor heats up and generates a magnetic field, causing the bimetal inside the thermal magnetic striker to bend or the magnet to attract the iron core, thus triggering the tripping mechanism.
2.Residual current detector: It utilizes a zero sequence current transformer to detect the residual current in the circuit. When the residual current exceeds the set threshold, the residual current detector will send a signal to the tripping mechanism to cut off the circuit.
Multi-functional integration: The STRO7-40 RCBO integrates overload, short-circuit and leakage protection functions, simplifying the design and installation of electrical systems.
High sensitivity: STRO7-40 RCBOs can quickly detect and cut off abnormal and residual currents in the circuit, providing reliable protection.
Easy to install and maintain: STRO7-40 RCBOs are usually modularized for easy installation and maintenance.
High safety: STRO7-40 RCBOs are rigorously tested and certified for high safety and reliability to ensure the safe operation of electrical systems.
STRO7-40 RCBOs are widely used in electrical systems in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, especially those that require simultaneous overload, short circuit and earth leakage protection. They are usually installed in distribution boxes, switchboards or control cabinets to protect circuits and equipment from damage caused by abnormal current and voltage, and to prevent electrocution.
