Structure and characteristics

Structure: 

3P AC Contactor usually consists of electromagnetic system (including coil, core, etc.), contact system (including main contact and auxiliary contact), arc extinguishing device and shell and other parts. Among them, the main contact is used to carry high current, and the auxiliary contact is used to realize the transmission and feedback of control signals.

Features:

With three independent contacts, it can control three-phase power and one zero line at the same time.

The contact system is made of high quality materials with good conductivity and wear resistance.

The electromagnetic system has sufficient suction force to reliably engage and release the contacts.

The arc extinguishing device can effectively extinguish the arc generated when the contacts are disconnected, protecting the contacts from damage.

Stls-2(Cjx2) Series Mechanical Interlocking Contactor is suitable for using in the circuits the rated voltage up to 660V AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated current up to 95A, for making & breaking, frequently starting & controlling the AC motor. Combined with the auxiliary contact block, timer delay & machine- interlocking device etc, it becomes the delay contactor, mechanical interlocking contactor, star-delta starter. With the thermal relay, it is combined into the electromagnetic starter. The Contactor is produced  according to IEC 60947-1.

Principle of Operation

When the coil of the 3P AC Contactor is energized, the iron core generates magnetism and attracts the contact system to close, thus connecting the three-phase power supply and a zero wire. When the coil is de-energized, the core loses its magnetism and the contact system separates under the action of a spring, thus disconnecting the three-phase power supply from the zero line. In this way, the 3P AC Contactor can realize remote control of electrical loads.
