4P RCBO AC Type

The 4P RCBO AC Type is a 4-pole circuit breaker that combines residual current protection and overcurrent protection functions, especially designed for alternating current (AC) circuits. It can automatically cut off the power supply when residual current (i.e. leakage current) is detected in the circuit to prevent electrical fires and personal electric shock accidents. At the same time, it also has an overcurrent protection function that can automatically cut off the power supply in the event of an overload or short-circuit in the circuit to protect the safety of the circuit and equipment.

Principle of operation

The operating principle of the 4P RCBO AC Type is based on the vector sum of currents and on electromagnetic principles. When the currents in the circuit on the fire (L) and zero (N) wires are not equal in magnitude, the vector sum of the currents in the primary side of the transformer circuit is not zero, which generates an induced voltage in the secondary side coil. This induced voltage is added to the electromagnetic relay, generating an excitation current that creates a reverse demagnetizing force. When the fault current reaches the operating current value of the RCBO, this reverse demagnetizing force will cause the armature inside the electromagnetic relay to disengage from the yoke, pushing the operating mechanism to act and cut off the fault current circuit.

DZ47LE-63 series electronic earth leakage protection circuit breaker is suitable for single phase residential circuit of AC 50Hz/60Hz, rated voltage 230V, and rated current 6A~63A; 400V for three phase circuit of AC 50Hz/60Hz. It can protect circuit form overload and short circuit. This product has advantages of small volume, high breaking capacity, live wire and zero line are cut off at the same time, also protecting person from electric leakage shock in the case of the fire wire and zero line connected reverse.

It conforms to the standard IEC61009-1,GB16917.1.
